Your pelvic floor is a group of muscles at the base of your spine. Like a hammock, these muscles form a supportive sling for your organs and are integral for healthy bowel, bladder and reproductive functions.

But there is OH so much more to your pelvic floor than going to the bathroom and making a baby.

Your pelvic floor (which I will call your womb space hereafter) is the source of your safety, security, sensuality, sexuality and creativity. 

In this second installment of "Explore and Restore your Pelvic Floor: Womb Wisdom"; Veronica Houghton DPT will guide you to a deeper understanding of your womb space pre and post natal and how to properly tend this space before and after baby. 

What if I don't have a baby or plan on having one you may ask?
